We went into an antique store in downtown Tacoma and the owner tells us that the city has always lived in Seattle’s shadow. “Everyone just goes to Seattle,” he says somewhat bitterly. Tacoma has mountains, a harbor, a giant blue and white dome. The great undiscovered pearl of the Northwest.
