Our friend Keith has proposed a revolutionary new way to pay for grad school: artist “sponsorship.” In addition to helping him offset costs by purchasing one of his drawings, friends, family and art philanthropists can actually sponsor Keith through his time at CalArts.
When you donate money to help me with my school expenses during a certain semester, you’ll receive your choice of artwork created during that semester. These package deals are also linked directly to a PayPal invoice for no-fuss no-muss sponsorship.
If you’ve ever wanted to be a patron of the arts, or a patron of a certain /artist/ (ahem!), here’s your opportunity to be a genuine, 21st century Medici and become a member of my version of Dali’s exclusive Zodiac Club.
And, in the spirit of a certain presidential candidate, schooling the world in grassroots fundraising, I have also posted a Donation link for those of you who may want to donate whatever you can to my cause. 5 bucks for pencils, 50 bucks for books, a million bucks “just because” - there is no limit, big or small.
