The first dead animal sighting of 2008

Here he is, the first dead animal spotted in 2008. This was on Essex Street east of Chinatown. I like how he’s propped up so jovially against the garbage can. I wonder if someone picked him up.

THEME’s New Space

We met up with John and Jiae from THEME , an amazing magazine (”the lens into the vanguard of Asian culture”) that we contribute articles to now and again. They have a new baby, a new office space in DUMBO and new staff members.

Philadelphia Flower Show

I’ve never been to a flower show, but the one in Philadelphia is a big one. The whole thing took place inside a space that was the size of a football field. The theme was New Orleans Jazz, I believe.

Bright Like Neon Glove

Lisa bought some gloves and they seem to have a life of their own. Thanks to the patrons at Marlowe and Sons for not getting mad at us.
