Every now and then Beijing offers up a welcome surprise. This weekend, that surprise came in the form of EMO+, without a doubt one of the most well curated shops for conceptually-oriented designer furniture and housewares in the city. Tucked away in the residential section of Soho New Town, it’s easy to overlook, but it would be a mistake to do so.
The shop also houses an endearing cafe on the 2nd floor. Theo, who runs PPaper’s Beijing office and the Mooi Cafe, and EMO’s owner, Linda, were around to join us for lunch.
